We Give Back

317 Cleaners

We are greatful for the mentors we’ve had in our journey in becoming a successful small business. They shared their knowledge on the operation’s side of a cleaning business. Knowing how to clean is one thing, managing the day to day operations is another. Since we had gracious mentors in our life, who gave us a jump start to becoming the business we are today, we wanted to be that for someone else. Establishing community and giving back is always at the heart of who we are. We wanted to create a group where our local new and as well as established cleaners could find community and mentorship. Our group is a place where they can ask questions, give advice, and opportunities where mentorship can take place. I have the philosophy “we are competitors, but we can still be friends.” We enjoy each other’s company at quarterly meet up’s, which are free, to encourage each other to stay the course, and be the best business owners we can be. If you are a local cleaner in the Indianapolis and surrounding cities find us on Facebook at 317 Cleaners. Send us a request to join and I’ll happily approve your request. We look forward to meeting you soon!

Home Of Grace

Home of Grace has a special place in our hearts. My sister completed the program at Home of Grace and left a changed person. She is now living an addiction free life and loves Jesus. We strongly believe in the program and the caring staff who walks along side of the residents on a daily basics. The support they give the residents gives them courage and hope that they can be transformed inside and out with the help of Jesus, community, and counseling. We choose to continue to donate monthly to this worthly cause that had such an impact in our family.

Please consider donating to the scholarship fund and help us provide a way for other lives and future generations to be forever changed.

Throughout the years our family has given and volunteered at Wheeler Mission in various capacities. When our girls were little they fundraised, and then donated the items they bought to the women and children’s shelters. We have also held church services and led activities during the holidays. Over the past 5 years it has become a tradition to bake breakfast casseroles for the women and children to enjoy on Christmas morning. We love serving together with our children, instilling ways they can serve their community and be a light for Jesus.

Nursing Home OutReach Ministry

Our family has been serving bi-weekly at a nursing home for 2.5 years now. We hold church services that include singing, words of encouragement through God’s word, pray for needs, take prayer request and love on everyone we see. We believe purpose does not end with age or circumstance. Our ministry encourages residents to know they are loved by God, created with purpose, and still able to make a difference every day. Through encouragement, fellowship, and faith-centered lessons, we inspire residents to uplift one another and share God’s love throughout their community.

We enjoy celebrating each holiday with the residents. It’s a way to honor them and create special memories for them. I think their favorite is our annual Thanksgiving meal which includes our Mississippi Ham that the residents rave about.

This ministry has allowed us to continue to instill in our children the value of serving others, while providing them opportunities to use their talents to bless others. This ministry has allowed us to be the church outside of the building becoming the hands and feet of Jesus. Living out the Mission of the Westside Church which is to Go Reach , Go Love and Go Serve.
